IInteract 5160 District Council (DC) is an organization of high school students across Northern California, united region-wide who provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build understanding, goodwill and peace in the world.
District Council:
Organizes 4+ district-wide events, in addition to smaller localized fundraisers/events
Support local Interact Clubs within District 5160
Raises awareness and funds for global and local issues and organizations.
Members of the District Council are Interactors (high school-aged students associated with a local Interact Club or Rotary Youth Program).

My name is Rubina and I’m a senior at California High School. This will be my fourth year being a part of California High School’s Interact Club, and my second year on District Council. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and volunteering in my community. I’m excited to serve as District Governor this year and look forward to organizing initiatives that will have a lasting positive impact on our community and beyond!

I’m Vivian and I’m super excited to serve as the lieutenant governor for 2026-2027! I’m a senior at California High School and I’ve been participating in its interact club since freshman year. Outside of community service, I love to draw, dance, and listen to music. As LG, I’m super excited at the chance to help spread the word about District Council’s mission across NorCal to better uplift Interactors and underserved communities!

My name is Irene and I am a senior at Mount Shasta Highschool. This is my third year being in Mount Shasta Highschool’s Interact Club and my first year on District Council. My favorite hobbies are skiing, listening to true crime podcasts, and reading. I can’t wait to work as District Delegate for Areas 1 and 2, and am excited to make a direct impact on and connect with our community.

My name is Mia, and I am a senior at Alhambra High School. I have been a part of the Alhambra Interact Club for three years, and this is my first year on the District Council. In my free time, I like to run, bake, read, and draw. I enjoy being outdoors and getting involved with my community. I’m excited for my first year on the District Council, where I’m eager to focus on increasing outreach and connection within my district.

Hi everyone! I’m Khushi, a sophomore at Dougherty Valley high school, where I serve as the treasurer for our school’s Interact club. Outside of Interact, you’ll find me trying new cafes, dancing, or debating. I’m thrilled to be the district delegate for area 12 this year and look forward to translating our motto “service above self” into a tangible impact across our communities.

My name is Maxwell and I’m currently a senior at California High School. This year is my fourth year being a part of California High School’s Interact Club and my first year on District Council. I love to play tennis, go weightlifting with friends, basically exercising in general, and do my best serving the community in my spare time.
