Don’t see your city/school? Interested in starting a club? Picture yourself as a leader within your community and imagine the positive impact you can make!
Interact Clubs work both locally and internationally. Within their own communities, clubs may connect with their sponsor Rotary Club and other local non-profits to provide their Interactors with volunteer opportunities.
Perform service projects
Clubs must organize at least two service projects annually. Service projects aid the local or international community through one of Rotary’s Six Areas of Focus.
Provide guidance to its members
Many clubs opt to provide opportunities to their members outside of volunteering. Some ideas conducted in the past include: bringing in featured speakers to meetings, homework and college application workshops, and social events.
Bring awareness to issues
With programs such as Rotary’s Calendar of Observances members are exposed to new ideas and cultures. Some activities and service projects may be based off of these topics.
